Meet Uri Goldflam
Uri Goldflam is an Israeli expert, educator and public speaker with over 35 years of experience specializing in biblical history, the geography of the Holy Land, Middle Eastern affairs, and the intersection of conflict and civil society. With decades of experience on the ground, professional, military and academic background, he delivers clear, evidence-based insights into the dynamics shaping Israel, the broader region, and the challenges facing Western democracies today.
A veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Uri served for 3 years as a combat platoon sergeant and later as a paratrooper in the reserves for over 20 years. Raised in both the United States and Israel, he holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Judaic Studies, and a master’s degree in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Uri’s career includes many years as a counsellor and youth program director, his tenure as Director of the International School at Reichman University, leadership positions within major Israeli NGOs, and extensive experience as a scholar-in-residence and licensed tour guide. He has educated and guided a wide range of audiences – including faith delegations and pilgrimages, families, members of Congress and parliamentarians, prime ministers, and senior executives – combining academic depth, firsthand field experience and remarkable story telling skills to create presentations that resonate with clarity, relevance, and authority.
Based in Israel, Uri regularly speaks in the United States and Canada sharing his expertise on ancient history, archaeology, geopolitics and current affairs. He is the founder and CEO of Travel Trailer Israel, which offers guided tours throughout the country. Uri has published articles in The Times of Israel on international relations and Israeli affairs.
